This was a For Film's Sake (FFS) production in Spring of 2023.. We had challenged students to produce 5 to 8 minute chamber films. A chamber film is a a film where each group is assigned a specific location that they have to write a script based off of and not allow the actors or the camera to leave the room. The crew and cast consisted of just over thirty people.
This was my second time directing, but my first time choreographing a fight scene. Meetings were set up with the Camera Operator, myself, and a stand in created a beat sheet to figure out blocking and shot composition. Actors then rehearsed the movement on set before filming.
